Who this guide is for, and a straightforward note on privacy.
The Washington Coast is an independent visitor's guide covering Grays Harbor County, Forks, and the coastal strip of Olympic National Park. It exists to make trip planning for this part of the state easier: one place to find towns, activities, seasons, and the official links you actually need, instead of piecing it together from a dozen tabs.
This site is not operated by, or officially affiliated with, the National Park Service, Grays Harbor County, the City of Ocean Shores, the City of Westport, the City of Forks, the Quinault Indian Nation, or the Quileute Tribe. Where we reference official fees, permits, tribal land, or park regulations, we link directly to the authoritative source, and we'd always encourage you to confirm details there before you travel.
